Musicianship - Advanced

Musicianship, Theory & Music Craft

Written & Aural Course

Level: Grade 5 - 6

These written/aural courses are designed to compliment practical studies by examining how music is put together. Theory is a purely written subject; Musicianship has an aural component from Grade Four onwards; and Music Craft is a mixture of both from beginning. These subjects give a fascinating glimpse into the history of Western music and are additional requirements for the higher grades of AMEB practical exams. New courses normally begin in Term 4 and continue through to the AMEB exams in August the following year.
